Technical Features
Mix of microorganisms for industrial crops seeds treatment
EKOseed® CEREALS is a microbial fertilizer fit for seeds treatment of industrial and extensive crops, made up of different fungi and bacteria, which re-create the Rhizosphere ecological balance. Arbuscular mycorrhizae work in synergy with the bacteria in promoting roots growth, nutrients absorption and competition with biotic stresses.
The bio-stimulant effect is given by phytohormones (IAA and gibberellins) and vegetal-hormones-precursors release. These substances induce a better roots development, even under nutritional deficit, which enables the exploration of a larger area of soil and the access to recalcitrant nutrients and water deposits. Plant-bacteria interaction stimulates the development of roots hair, maximizing the absorption of nutrients in soil.
The bio-fertilizing effect is due to the efficient mobilization of the least available nutrients for the plant (Organic Nitrogen, Phosphorus, micro-elements). Mycorrhizae develop a widespread and capillary hyphae network, able to reach mineral deposits even far away from the root, mobilize them and bring in the plant xylematic flow. Rhizobacteria, as Bacillus and Pseudomonas, produce lytic enzymes, organic acids and siderophore substances, able to solubilize and make available Phosphorus, Nitrogen and micro-elements such as Iron, Manganese and Zinc. Iron is one of the fundamental elements for diseases development, thus restricting their growth.
